Baldessarini is the top of the line Hugo Boss fashion range which was named after their former long-standing chairman, Werner Baldessarini.
This new fragrance is as high end as it's clothing name-sake at nearly US$100 a bottle, (which is an antique reproduction.)
Available in the UK from Harrods in 1000 numbered bottles in August 2002, and following in the US in March 2003.

"After reading the ingredients for this scent I felt like I had to try it . My online order arrived and,like a kid, I eagerly opened the package . The bottle is really well made and cool . The scent for me alittle mature , something like my father could wear. This cologne is not very versatile , I can think only of wearing it in maybe a formal setting . As for afterwork or socializing , it just does not work for me. Maybe all that tobacco in the bottom makes the scent less appealing to my nose ."

"If you like more mature, sopisticated fragrances then Baldessarini will be a welcome addition to your collection . This scent evokes a solid upscale qualtity with a touch of bohemia mixed in for good measure . I personally think I may be alittle young (31 years) to wear this fragrance at present, but I will hold onto my bottle in the hope that unlike a good wine this one will get better and better the more I age ."

Splendid in every note, elegant and transparant, it is unlike the majority of masculine fragrances of last years. I never paid any kind of respect to Boss fragrances but this one is a real masterpiece. Recommended for men after 35."
