How to Search the Site
The simple text search allows you to search for information
using search words, modifiers, and operators. When you enter a word
as a query, a simple text parser will add some simple modifiers
to the word and pass everything to the search engine.
Results are measured by documents scores; the higher
the score, the more likely the document will match the specified
search criteria.
Example
- To search for the words regional and chapter:
Enter the following in the Search field: regional chapter
and click Search.
If any documents contain the words regional or chapter (or variations
of these words), a list with all the documents will appear.
- To search for an exact phrase:
Use quotation marks in the Search field: ""regional chapter""
and click Search.
Documents contain the phrase ""regional chapter"" will
appear.
You can also require a word by using (+) and exclude a work by
using (-).
- To search for the word regional, but not chapter:
Enter the following in the Search field: +regional -chapter
and click Search.
If any documents contain the word "chapter", but NOT the word "regional"
a list with all the documents will appear.
