Biography: Del Dressel is one of only three players in collegiate lacrosse history to earn first-team All-America honors four times. The midfielder helped Johns Hopkins University to NCAA Lacrosse Championships in 1984 and 1985. He received the Lt. Donald MacLaughlin Award as the nation's top midfielder in 1984 and 1985 as well. Dressel finished his career with 174 points (99 goals, 75 assists) and is the highest scoring midfielder in Hopkins history. Dressel was inducted to the Greater Baltimore Hall of Fame in 2001 and at the time of induction resided in Towson, Maryland.
Del was inducted as “a truly great player.”
