Atari sent us three screenshots from the Xbox version of Sid Meier's Pirates!, showcasing this action/adventure role-playing game released for the PC in November 2004. The player takes on the role of a swashbuckling young pirate seeking to make his fortune by attacking and capturing enemy ships, dueling villains, sneaking into towns to romance governors' daughters, finding buried treasure, sacking cities and battling other pirates.
