This site gives details on all New Jersey Boy Scout Camps including local weather forecasts, map coordinates, driving directions, and an opportunity for you to leave your own comments & reviews about the camps. Non BSA Camp sites are also listed.
BCC - Pine Tree Education & Env. Center
The Pine Tree Education & Enviromental Center is on 228 acres in Tabernacle NJ. The camp has a small lake for swimming, boating and canoeing. No information on the council website. This link is to BsaCamp.org.
CNJC - Camping @ Central New Jersey Co.
Kittatinny Mountain Scout Reservation (KMSR) and Yards Creek Scout Reservation (YCSR) are owned and operated by the Central New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America.
CNJC - Kittatinny Mountain Scout Res.
Kittatinny Mountain Scout Reservation is operated by the Central New Jersey Council. Its 500 acres (including 60 acre lake) is located in Sussex County & is surrounded by Stokes State Forest & adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
CNJC - Yards Creek Scout Reservation
A 510 acre Scouting retreat located on the grounds of the Yards Creek Pumping Station in Blairstown, New Jersey within hiking distance of the Appalachian Trail and the Delaware River,
GNYC (NY) - Alpine Scout Camp
So very close to New York City yet in the wilderness! Its true, this is a spectacular camp operated by the Greater New York Council just ten miles north of the George Washington Bridge in NYC. Home to John Reeves Cub World.
JSC - Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation
This is the primary council camp of the Jersey Shore council. It is located in Brookville NJ and includes directions & summer camp info. It is sometimes called Brookville Scout Reservation.and has 375 acres.
MC - Quail Hill Scout Reservation
Quail Hill Scout Reservation (QHSR) has an active Campmaster organization. Campmasters are a group of selected registered Scouters who volunteer to serve at Quail Hill Scout Reservation whenever troops, posts or packs are using any part of the camp.
NNJC - Camp Alpine
Located in Alpine, New Jersey, Camp Alpine is a great place for weekend camping and hiking the Palisades Historic Trail. This is a DIFFERENT camp than GNYC's camp of the same name which is located NEXT to NNJC's Camp Alpine.
NNJC - Camp Glen Gray
This is from the official Northern New Jersey Council web site. Glen Gray is a fully functional summer camp with a large array of facilities & is located on 800 wooded acres of the Ramapo Mountains at the border of Oakland and Mahwah

Camp Glen Gray is 750 wooded acres of the Ramapo Mountains located on the border of Oakland and Mahwah, just off State Route 202. Currently the camp is for sale & a group of scouters is trying to purchase it.
NNJC - Camp Lewis
Camp Lewis is located in the Hibernia Section of Rockaway Township, Morris County NJ. The camp has a number of different camping areas.
NNJC - Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco
No-Be-Bo-Sco is operated by New Jersey's Bergen Council & has been serving Boy Scouts since 1927. The camp, located in Blairstown, New Jersey, borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail.
NNJC - Camp Tamarack
This is a news article that details the sell of this former Boy Scout Camp to Bergen County. The council is also trying to sell Camp Glen Gray.
NNJC - Camp Yaw-Paw
Camp Yaw-Paw is a 400 acre tract of land in the Ramapo Mountain Range. The camp offers a winter camping program from September till May. Camp Yaw-Paw is Northern New Jersey Council's Cub Day Camp during the summer months.
NNJC - Conklin Scout Reservation
Northern New Jersey Council's Conklin Scout Reservation is an ideal location for your next weekend camping or unit picnic. Conklin is conveniently located in Boonton Township, NJ and is seventy-two acres in size.
PPC - Camp Somer
This is one of the two camps that was a part of the old Morris-Sussex Area Council's Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation which is located in Stanhope NJ. The camp is now operated by the Patriots Path Council.
PPC - Camp Wheeler
This is one of the two camps that was a part of the old Morris-Sussex Area Council's Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation which is located in Stanhope NJ. The camp is now operated by the Patriots Path Council.
PPC - Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation
Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation provides a full range of summer camping opportunities. Camp Somers and Camp Wheeler comprise the two sub camps of this reservation operated by the Patriots Path Council.
PPC - Tremly Point Sea Scout Base
The Tremly Point Sea Scout Base is the largest Sea Scout facility on the East Coast. Located on Rahway river, nestled between Tremly Point and the Carteret marsh, the Sea Scout base provides a base of operations for Patriots Path Sea Scout Ships.
PPC - Winnabago Scout Reservation
Winnebago Scout Reservation encompasses 470 cares in the area of Rockaway Township, New Jersey. It is surrounded by over 1400 acres of land and water available for hiking, camping and canoeing. Operated by the Patriots Path Council.
SNJC - Camp Diller
This is a rustic weekend camping area operated by the Southern New Jersey Council. The site offers a pavilion & latrine.
SNJC - Camp Grice
Camp Grice is the location for the Southern New Jersey Council Cub Scout Day Camp. It is located near the council headquarters on Aldine-Poletavern Road.
SNJC - Pine Hill Scout Reservation
This is one of the major facilities of the council. Located in Berlin NJ on 265 acres, the camp includes Tent sites, Adirondack shelters, & Winter cabins.
SNJC - Roosevelt Scout Reservation
Camp Roosevelt is located on Watson's Mill Road, in Elmer NJ. It is one of the main camps of the Southern New Jersey Council. There are two camps here Camp Diller & Camp Grice.
