Two new movies for Tomb Raider: Legend are now available for download, offering a few moments with Toby Gard, the Original Creator of Lara Croft, who talks about Lara looking more alive than ever before, from the high-poly count of her character model to the way she moves smoothly through the environments. The sexy Lara Croft's character model will feature natural structure, realistic textures, detailed facial features, reactive eyes and fluid motion. Her equipment will consist of magnetic grappling device, binoculars, frag grenades, personal lighting device and communications equipment. Tomb Raider: Legend is slated for release on PS2, Xbox and PC. Be sure to grab the E3 2005 trailer if you haven't done so yet.

We inserted in our gallery screenshots from the PC version of Need for Speed Most Wanted, showcasing this upcoming racing game in the works at EA Canada, creators of Need for Speed Underground franchise. Combining the thrill of illicit street racing and tuner customization with the intensity of strategic police pursuits that rivals any Hollywood-style chase scene, Need for Speed Most Wanted promises to challenge players to become the most notorious and elusive street racer. The game features a dynamic open world, new gameplay and customization as well as tuners, supercars, muscles and sports cars.

Atari has released a new trailer for Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum, showcasing the first video game parody ever created. The game is developed by Etranges Libellules and will be released in the second half of October for the PlayStation 2 and PC. It seems that Getafix, the famous druid, is behaving very strangely and all the other renowned druids of the Roman Empire have disappeared. You will meet characters like Centurion Larry Craft who insists on jumping around in canvas shorts, rather than wear a skirt like everybody else, and a repentant Roman spy with inside knowledge of new-fangled techniques: Sam Shieffer.

Netcharger and MindSurge Entertainment announced that the Control Monger server stress test event will take place on Sunday September 11th between 17:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT. The servers will remain open after the event, but the developers want to make sure to get the maximum amount of players on the servers at one time. Dystopia places the player into tense combat situations in a high tech world spanned by computer networks. As either Punk Mercenaries or Corporate Security Forces the player will fight through the physical world to gain access, via jack-in terminals, to cyberspace. Cyberspace is a three dimensional representation of the world's network. Inside cyberspace players will launch programs to hack into systems linked to the physical world while fighting off enemy hackers and defending critical systems. Gameplay progresses through inter-linked physical and cyberspace objectives, some are completed in either the physical world or cyberspace, others only by a well timed combination of the two. The official Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 website is now live, offering screenshots and game information, as well as downloadable goodies such as wallpaper and MP3s from the game. If you pre-order the game at select retailers, you will receive a free Digital Devil Saga 2 Soundtrack CD containing 30 tracks from the game (while supplies last).

Atlus sent us new screenshots and six clips from Trauma Center: Under the Knife, a game developed for the Nintendo DS and scheduled for October 18th. Under the Knife lets you play doctor, performing increasingly complex surgeries. The stylus will be your scalpel as you make incisions, anesthetize problem areas, remove tumors, monitor vital signs, apply bandages, and more.

THQ has released a new trailer for The Outfit, showcasing this squad-based action game developed by Relic Entertainment for Xbox 360. The game's action is set within war ravaged Europe during World War II and takes players behind enemy lines, battling the Nazi War Machine through a variety of large combat missions. The game is scheduled to release holiday 2005.

The latest version of Global Warfare is now locally mirrored, allowing you to play this Half-Life modification. Global Warfare has a campaign system, where all the maps link together. Each team starts off with 4 maps under their control. The two teams battle it out at the start map, which neither controls, and the winning team gains control, plus moves into the opposite teams territory. Once a team has all the maps they win the campaign. There are several ways to "win" in the game. The most basic way to win is to destroy the enemies' transport (usually a blackhawk helicopter or an APC) and then kill the remaining troops on the ground. The other ways to win depend on the particular map itself. Some mission objectives are to call in airstrikes, destroy buildings or radio relays or bridges, and others involve capturing/rescuing civilians or officials. See the manual for more info.

Game Factory Interactive and MiST land South today announced that African Alliance is cancelled (thanks Blues) and that all the resources are now relocated to Jagged Alliance 3D. They also announced they will release Warfare towards the end of the year and Jagged Alliance 3D sometime in the beginning of next year.

Game Factory and Mist Land are developing Jagged Alliance 3D, while Strategy First obtained the publishing rights for the game. Today, they released some new screenshots, so you can find them uploaded in our gallery. Enjoy!

Valve today announced that Day of Defeat: Source will be available on September 26th (thanks Computergames Romania). DoD: Source offers state of the art graphics with optimized versions of popular maps and all new player, weapon and world models, plus support for HDR lighting. The game will be available for pre-load and pre-order next week. Those who purchased the Half-Life 2 Silver or Gold Steam offers will receive a request to pre-load the game at this time and will receive access to play the moment the game is made available. If you have purchased the Bronze offer, then DoD: Source is only $19.95.

Mastiff today announced the list of songs included in Pump It Up: Exceed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. This list does not include the hidden songs in the game which must be unlocked though. Pump It Up: Exceed was released this week and comes in a package that includes the special five-button Pump It Up mat, and will be available at retailers throughout US for a suggested price of $59.99. SEGA Europe Ltd has released a new trailer for Shadow The Hedgehog, a spin-off from SEGA's best-selling Sonic The Hedgehog series currently in development at SEGA Studio USA, under the direction of Takashi Iizuka, lead developer of Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and Sonic Heroes. The main character is the beloved Shadow who is tormented by a dark past, struggling to discover his true identity. He is caught in a complex battle between aliens, the G.U.N. army, and Dr. Eggman, and discovers that he may be the very element that will tip the scales between good and evil forever. Black Bean today announced the UK release of The X Factor Sing, the official game of the UK's televised talent search, The X Factor, for PlayStation 2 and PC. Developed by Milestone, the game gives players a chance to put their talents to the test before two of the show's infamous judges, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, by singing into a USB mic over 20 tracks from some of today's stars including Natalie Imbruglia, Melanie C, Sugababes and Ronan Keating.
