Amoral Sciences Club
About the Amoral Sciences Club
The Amoral Sciences Club is the undergraduate foil to the faculty's Moral
Sciences Club. It's built on the premise that there is no better way to do
philosophy than to discuss philosophy. Generally, this involves getting together and discuss
philosophical ideas in a relaxed and informal setting, normally over a
low-grade red wine.
We are currently part-way through the Confrontations
series, in which senior philosophers re-enact famous philosophical debates of old. For more information about this series of talks, and other
meetings this term, visit the fixtures page.
To join the ASC-mailing list, which will keep you updated with
all forthcoming ASC fixtures, just email a member of the
committee.
Note that current philosophy undergraduates and graduates are already subscribed.
