Welcome to the Cambridge University Music Club Homepage >>low graphics version

The Cambridge University Music Club is a student-run society which presents top class and high profile concerts at the University's fine concert hall in West Road. The Music Club runs the Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra (CUCO), the University's premier student orchestra and undoubtedly one of the finest University groups in the country. In addition to the five or six CUCO concerts in the year, the Music Club's annual programme includes many chamber concerts, which show off the very best of the student community's musical talent, and a recital by a well known music world celebrity.

The Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra promises musicians the opportunity of working with professional conductors to the highest musical standards and attracts the best players at the University. The two concerts per term feature a varied and challenging programme and as well as being directed by well known musical directors often feature renowned soloists. Despite its title, CUCO does not perform only the chamber orchestra repertoire but varies its programmes with popular symphonies as well as often presenting lesser known, but challenging and exciting works.

Why not have a look at our fantastic Concert Calendar for the year? Are you interested in becoming a member of the CUMC? Or perhaps you would like to know our ticket prices?
