The Cambridge University Students' Pro-Bono Society is an independent Society ran by
and for Cambridge University students, but registered with the University Proctors. The Society is grateful for the support and recognition of the Cambridge University Faculty of Law.
The Society exists to support and promote legally-related volunteer work for the benefit
of the Community (pro bono publico). In order to achieve its aims, the Society
works with several projects which provide legally-related services to the community.
The Society currently works with the Cambridgeshire
Youth Offending Service, Cambridge Victim Support, Cambridge Citizens' Advice Bureau, Cambridge Refugee Support Group and Revolving Doors to allow its volunteers to support these
projects. Please see our projects page for more information.
We also run a 'StreetLaw' educational outreach project teaching citizenship issues in local schools.
