"Toonworks" allows kids to create their own cartoon characters. No talent is required to have a blast putting together cartoons with pre-made graphics. Choose your character from ten different backgrounds, bodies, heads, facial features, hair, hats, glasses, and props. Or make him from scratch with one of the numerous drawing tools. This demo includes many of the features users would find in registered adult art programs, including lines, shapes, colors, text and patterns.

The interface is geared toward smaller children than the "Let's Draw" game, also from Ike Software, but it still has a complex interface. Older kids should learn to navigate rather quickly, just by exploring.

There are plenty of options open for the demo version. Kids can even save their creations and come back to them later. Printing is not available in the demo version, but files can be saved and used again if players decide to purchase the software.
