The Starlite Singers, based in Highcliffe,
are a group of ladies who sing to raise money
for the Macmillan Cancer Trust, Christchurch.
Their repertoire includes light popular music
and songs from the shows, and over a period
of four years they have been able to donate
a substantial amount to the Trust.
The donations have been raised through the
generosity of the many audiences to which
they sing. They meet for rehearsal on a weekly
basis when they combine serious practice
with a friendly atmosphere.

ladies group please contact Glenys Richards

On Sunday 4 July 2004, the Singers presented
the Macmillan Trust with cheque for £3,250
at their packed Mudeford Wood concert, following
another 45+ fund raising performances in
less than a year.
This brought the total donated to the Trust
in the group's six years to a staggering
£15,500 - so far!
