Summary: Probably lost film

Maurice Phillips (Ronald Colman) seeks revenge for his father's death in the boxing ring. He trains hard to become a prizefighter and wins over his father's former rival. When he discovers that his father really died of a heart-attack, her find his peace and marries the daughter of a Rabbi.

The film was probably destroyed during the London Blitz 1941. It was Colman's most famous british film and his performance was praised by the critics. It was an early example of films depicting the lives of religious minorities.
