Probably lost film, 17 July 2003
Author: eva25at from Vienna, Austria

Anna and Annabel (Alma Taylor) are twin sisters. Anna is the shy art-student, Annabel the famous parisian dancer. Annabel's husband disappears after an accident on their honeymoon. She believes him dead, poses as her sister, flirts with her sister's boy-friend and marries a wealthy magnate. Her husband reappears, of course...

The film was not very successful. The audience found the plot turgid, and complained that the twins were indistinguishable. Ronald Colman played just a bit part, but the critics liked his pleasant manner. He still had a marked limp, after his war injury. Like all of his british films, this one was probably destroyed during the 1941 London Blitz.
