Today's Weather Fact...
On this date in 1969, the worst tornado on record for western Washington touched down south of Seattle. The twister, which varied from 50 to 200 yards across, started as a waterspout over Puget Sound. Only one person was injured but the tornado caused half a million dollars in damages. |
