Unlike the previous game, Rise of Legends is a fantasy real-time strategy game, affirming the intentions of developers to create a new franchise. Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends will be released in Spring 2006 - grab the E3 2005 trailer if you haven't done so yet.

Our Pirates of the Burning Sea gallery has been updated with new screenshots from this upcoming MMORPG in works at Flying Lab Software. Pirates of the Burning Sea is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game set in the Caribbean islands of the 18th Century. You play a bold sea captain, master of your own ship and crew, as you seek glory and adventure across the trackless deep. The game is scheduled for this winter.

We have new screenshots from Captain Blood, an action game based on Rafael Sabatini’s novel, Captain Blood: His Odyssey, about the notorious Captain Peter Blood. Players take the role of a brave and noble corsair, following his intriguing and amazing adventures in 1685 Spanish Main. The game’s mission-based structure allows players a diverse battlefield on both land and sea, with ship-to-ship battles and swashbuckling sword fights to gain control of boarded ships. Players can experience directly controlled naval battles manually firing ship cannons from the foredeck, or navigating their course in third-person view while cannons aim automatically and fire only when commanded. Wind strength, direction, weather conditions, ship parameters and cannon fire range must all be weighed to achieve victory. The game is developed by Akella and will be released in early summer of 2006, for PC and Xbox 360.

Our Titan Quest gallery has been updated with new screenshots, illustrating this action RPG developed for the PC by Iron Lore Entertainment and set in the ancient mythical worlds of Greece and Egypt. Titan Quest is scheduled to release in 2006.

We have new screenshots and a new trailer from Dreamlords, showcasing the upcoming massively multiplayer online RTS game in the works at Swedish developer Lockpick Entertainment. In Dreamlords, players assume the role of a Dreamlord in the control of a patria. A patria is a chunk of land floating in the universe with its own population and various natural resources. The patria is the base of operations. This is where everything starts; the population lives here, which enables a player to create an army and construct buildings. As the patria grows, more choices must be made. Player skills are required to focus a strategy, be it might through force, cunning, alliances or some other means. Everything is allowed in the war for existence. Dreamlords will be released during 2006; the exact release date will be disclosed later on.

Our gallery has been updated with a new batch of screenshots from Auto Assault, showcasing the MMOG in the works at NetDevil. In Auto Assault, players explore a post-apocalyptic future in customizable cars, motorcycles, semis and even tanks. Players battle other players both in arenas and in epic race vs. race wars for control of the regions in a devastated Earth. Auto Assault uses the power of the Havok physics engine to let you make insane jumps, send obstacles flying and even blast bridges, buildings, fences and trees with your car-mounted rockets. Auto Assault is due to be released next year.

We have eight new Hard Truck: Apocalypse screenshots, showcasing this third person action/RPG game set in the post-apocalyptic environment where you drive a heavy truck searching the guarded secrets of the lost civilization. The game features five basic truck models with various upgrades, more than 30 types of weapons, numerous enemies such as battle trucks, war transports, robots, infantry, 4 big and 12 small bosses, and more.

Our El Matador gallery has been updated with four screenshots illustrating this third person stealth action game in the works at Plastic Reality Technologies. In this game, player takes on the role of a DEA agent, whose aim is to bring down the narkomafia, an organised crime syndicate in South America. Driven by revenge for what the narkomafia did to his brother, the player will progress through a story which weaves its way throughout the adventure, combines all the essential features of surprise, unexpected twists and dramatic developments. El Matador will be released by Cenega Publishing in Q2 2006.

New screenshots from The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar have been inserted in our gallery, showcasing this MMORPG in the works at Turbine Entertainment Software and previously known as Middle Earth Online. The E3 2005 trailer is located here.

Riddle's War is a a team-based shooter, which heavily exploit the concept, story and atmosphere of H.G. Wells's War of the Worlds. This time, the player will have to confront the second wave of Martian invasion, nearly 25 years after the first incident. Humanity has changed a lot since then, thanks to improvements in technology and politics. But alien attackers took a lesson from the previous attempt, they reconsidered their war plans. You will play the role of a man, who will lead the human resistance in war-torn England. The first concept art found their way in our gallery.

We also have the first screenshots from Refuse, a third-person tactical shooter that tells a "story about a confrontation between two groups of the toy soldiers, that fell a victim of the unlucky hackers. The whole world is threatened with big danger again. The soldiers-freaks offended by the fact that they were named like refuse and were condemned to the recycle process, set themselves a task: to destroy the world and punish everybody for this universal injustice. Right away after they got out from the box with the big label "REFUSE" they made a big massacre at the factory where they were made. The main game action take place in a desert house, were the refusers founded their headquaters and forces. The process of cloning freak-soldiers is started. The first batch of screenshots from Artifact Rush has been inserted in our gallery, illustrating this upcoming survival racing game in the works at Comulti The main feature that distinguishes Artifact Rush from other is the unusual car control. Player firstly has to put his route at the map and wait while his opponents do the same. Then the main task is to defend agent's vehicle and destroy the enemy's cars, because now the car is driven by autopilot.
