produced by Sierra Entertainment. Or is it
Vivendi Universal?
The product has changed hands several times over the years, and appears to no longer have an up-to-date
home on the web - both the Sierra and Vivendi pages are incomplete and out of date. This page is an attempt to address
the situation, and bring you solid and accurate information about the game.
The Hoyle Card Games collection usually comes
out with a new edition each year. The updated version generally adds a few new features and/or games.
If you own an older edition of the game, there's probably no reason to buy the new version unless
one of the new games or features catches your interest. If you're new to the series, read the following

The current version, Hoyle Card Games 2005,
offers over 70 card games (see screen shots), ranging from children's games such as Go Fish and Old Maid,

for Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert challenges.
In addition to playing against computer computer opponents, you can also play Hoyle Card Games
over the Internet with other live players. Challenge a friend or stranger to any of the card games,
and use the built-in chat feature to converse during the game.
The Hoyle Card Games package includes a free Hoyle rulebook and strategy guide.
