Mind Sports Olympiad Singapore 2000 is one of the main activities of
the Singapore Learning Festival,
organised by the Ministry of Manpower to support its lifelong learning initative.
MSO Singapore 2000's organising committee comprises public officers from
the Civil Service College - Institute of Public Administration and Management
and the directors and staff of Mind Sports Organisation Pte Ltd.

of the location, Singapore Expo Centre, is available. There
were over 1600 entries from 17 different countries:
as well as the home contingent from Singapore, travellers
came to participate from Bangladesh, China, France, Germany,
India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand,
the Phillipines, Thailand, the UK, the US and Uzbekistan!
We covered some of the chess and xiangqi games at MSO Singapore 2000
live on this web site between 6pm and 10pm Singapore time on Thursday 7th
September and Friday 8th September and betwen 2pm and 7pm Singapore time
on Saturday 9th September. It's still possible to play through the games
