92/100 Parker ****(*) RVF Manzanilla is fino produced in the area of Sanlucar de Barrameda, where the nearby sea has an influence on the flor and creates wines with a noticeably salty tang. (Flor is the pale, wrinkly, yellowish mould that produces sherry's yeasty character). Made from Palomino Fino grapes, cultivated on the white marl soils so typical of the area, this classic, delicate Andalusian sherry has a refreshing acidity. Pale gold in colour, the wine is light, dry and crisp with a zesty, sea-dog character. France Bordeaux Sauternes and Sweet Wines. A very good year for dry white wines and more mixed for sugary wines. A small crop because of the spring frost. Still, Merlots and Cabernets Francs produced good wines. Cabernet Sauvignons were less consistent regarding quality. The 1993/1994 winter was quite warm. The budburst took place at the end of March but the cold weather of April cut down the production to half. Some properties lost 100% of their yield. June, July and August were hot but September was a rainy month. The white grape variety matured well. Picking took place before the rain falls. More offers in this category French Wines

The Tracy hamlet is situated close to the Loire river.This is where Count and Countess of Estutt d'Assay produce one of the region's best example of Pouilly-Fumé. This winery was created in 1396 and the wines produced there are delicate and well-balanced.We were quite in a hurry to discover their new vintage and the Château de Tracy 2003 is very beautiful.Harvests started on the 10th September with perfectly rippen grapes, rich and concentrated. The nose is intense, delicate and fruity.The mouth is just the same: neat, rich and harmonious. More offers in this category French Wines
