Description:
J-Fonts! is the last set of fonts you'll try, because as soon as you try it, you'll be hooked!
This font set features stylish yet practical and legible typefaces that will make staring at your Palm OS device much easier.
I'm certain you'll like these fonts. After you've tried them, please be sure to review this software!
Suggestions are welcome! Please report bugs or problems too. I know you'll find these fonts better than the default fonts, and much more legible than some of the other illegible choices available.
The order of the fonts is now the same as the font selection screen in FontHack123, so you can go right down the list when assigning fonts.
The order of the fonts is as follows: (#0) Standard; (#1) Bold; (#2) Large; (#3) Symbol; (#4) Symbol11; (#5) Symbol7; (#6) LED; (#7) LargeBold; (#8) Miniature; (#9) Alternate LargeBold. (Numbers eight and nine are extra alternatives. Miniature is great for DOC readers.) Knowing this will make your job in FontHack123 much easier.
Please do support my efforts and review these fonts! Thanks!
Update Description:
NOTE: There are two ways to update from an older version of J-Fonts:
- Disable FontHack123 in X-Master. Perform a HotSync to install the new PDB file. Reactivate FontHack123 after your HotSync has completed. You shouldn't have to reassign the fonts, but you might have to.
- Deactivate FontHack123 in X-Master, and then use a file management utility (e.g. Filez) to delete the current J-Fonts! file from your handheld. HotSync immediately to upload the newer version of J-Fonts!
Check to see if you need to reassign your FontHack123 associations. Thanks.
v2.20 (6/23/02):
- Widened many of the characters in the LargeBold 2 font.
- Some were too narrow.
- Minor update.
v2.18 (5/6/02):
- Added a handheld icon to Normal font character 1A (helpful for BDicty).
- Repaired "curly" quotation marks in Normal and LargeBold fonts.
v2.17 (4/7/02):
- The ampersands used in J-Fonts are now more traditional ones.
- This will make things a bit clearer for some of you.
v2.16 (4/2/02):
- Another minor update. I just updated the punctuation and symbol indicator logos to ones more appealing (so I think).
