A fair program.
PROS:
- sorting the expenses categories.
- ability to sum the expenses with a screen touch.

- inability to customize currency symbol.
- changing to the Number case every time an expense item is entered

A very good app if you never want to change your categories! I've been using for a few months for tracking how much I've spent out of various budget items, and it's worked great, BUT:
3 small problems:
Firstly, the date doesn't actually fit in the date field. Secondly, it would be really nice if you were automatically switched into number mode when you go into the "amount" field. And thirdly, when you go "enter expense" it should give you a blank expense, rather than the first one in your list - too often I've overwritten an expense by editing it rather than creating a new expense!
And one major problem:
Editing categories is a nightmare. You can create blank categories. You can create 2 categories with the same name. You can delete categories with items in them, which then become orphan items. Trying to select a category to rename or delete it is practically impossible - I've only accomplished it by accident.
So if you have a static budget where the categories are never going to change, it's a good program and I'd recommend it. But otherwise, stay away!

Great program. It has an advantage over the Expense program which comes with my Zire in that I can edit categories and create new ones. Works Great, no probs so far. One Question, is it possible to add some 'help' info on what each of the buttons does? eg. what does the S button do? is it possible to have a wider DATE column? Because I enter '8/2/03' and only see '8/2/0'.

Very simple and easy to use. There are a several annoyances. The list of categories is not alphabetically sorted, you can create a new category that does not have name, etc... but it's better than anything I can program on Palm OS ;)

Just right. Easy to use and does not take up too much memory. It even gives you a total of your expenses when requested. Nice little program. Thanks.

All I needed was a Palm app to track tax deductable expenses. Works fine and is easy to use.

I can manage categories and enter expenses, but I cannot see the expenses saved.
