If she knew what she wants, he's been giving it to her.

Do you know what you want?
Knowing your self is the key to happiness and success.
This tool, the Mind Manager, will help you find it. Just click in how happy you were and what you did at the end of the day.
The Mind Manager will analyze your tendency, and tell you what makes you happy, and what doesn't.
At night, before you go to bed, enter your overall happiness (1 - 5) and events that happened to you in the day. For example, if you were healthy, if you had a nice conversation with your partner, etc. You may hit the "comm" button to write a comment. Then, hit the "Exam" button. Mind Manager will analyze your history, and using aheuristics, tell you which events seem to make you happy/unhappy.
Mind Manager is an approach to scientifically find out what makes people happy. So your feedback will be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me about what kind of information you gathered about yourself, what you learned, if the tool was easy to use, if the examination results made sense, what improvement should be made, etc.
The source code is available at http://www.monkey.org/~nao/palm/MindMngr/. It is developed on Linux 2.4 (RedHat 7.0), with gcc-2.95.2, pilrc-2.7b, Palm SDK 3.5, prc-tools-2.0, etc. (described in http://www.monkey.org/~nao/palm/palm-dev-install.) I welcome patches for both debugging and enhancement.
No. 1 future work is to generate a graph that represents the transition of the overall happiness. You can use this to assess in which period of time you have been happy/unhappy.
No. n ambitious future work is to connect this software to health examination tools, like a blood pressure tester. It will provide more reliable information about one's health, and helps understanding correlation between health and happiness.
