| KENWOOD | TT900 EON | A future design classic & also being aluminium doesn t show fingermarks. Toast is fine (what else can a toaster do)but you do waste a lot of bread demonstating how the toast sinks unaided into the toaster glows blue to show it s on and dings when it s finished. The bun toaster is substantial & fits & works well.If you can get it for under £40 it s worth every penny

| TEFAL | 8757.15 AVANTI | I love this toaster. I hesitated to buy it initially because of the unusual design, but it makes the toast easier to remove than a normal toaster and looks great in the kitchen. I've had it a couple of years and no problems with it.

| Cordon Bleu | Stainless Steel 2 Slice Toaster | Sirs, As a teacher of Product Design I was immediately attracted to your range of products - and have bought several.
However, can I suggest 2 improvements: 1. In terms of energy-saving, how about the addition of two buttons to select single slot only? Also: 2: How about the facility to lift smaller items up by 3-4 cms?

| SIEMENS | Porsche TT91100 | The toatser works by having two heating elements facing each other on either side of the toaster. The theory is that the curved reflective inner surface will distribute the heat evenly, producing wonderfull results. Utter rubbish - the elements toast best in the dead centre of the machine with the toast often starting to char here, whilst it remains as dry bread at the outer edges. The pop-up mechanism works poorly with the machine needing shaking on occasion to get it to rise.
For the £80 spent I could have bought half a dozen so called inferior toasters that would have produced better results. Shame, especially as the coffee maker (same brand, same range) works superbly well.

| KENWOOD | TT397 SIL/SATIN | I made the mistake of buying this toaster and I have to say it just plain does not work!
It looks cool but burns the edges of every slice of bread I put in it without cooking the centre. Drives me nuts. Its just poor design and to think I associated Kenwood with quality. Never again.
