Racing. You're a bear and you've broken your last toothpick, and need to rescue the last one before the crow gets it. Jump in your race car and beat him to it. Arrow keys and space to accelerate.

Cards. The classic card game. Now on most desktops, but more enjoyable online. Mouse controlled.
Grid Iron -
Format: Shockwave
Sports. It's you versus a whole team. Throw and catch the ball and then avoid the rushing opponents. Collecting the lightning strikes gives you extra speed and points
Viral Pursuit -
Format: Flash
Arcade. Guide your 'thing' (a microbe) to the yellow circle (target pill), avoiding the big blue things (viruses). Easy to begin with, but soon becomes difficult. Arrow keys to control.
Sheep Game -
Format: Flash
Simulation. Herd or split your flock for practice. 2 obstacle courses to beat. Looks great and is VERY responsive. Mouse controlled.
Tomahawk -

Simulation. Helicopter battles, originally available on the Spectrum. Requires a bit of practice and experimentation. Keyboard controlled.
Shockwave Baseball -

Sports. Come back from behind to win as the batting team. Not quite so difficult after a while. Mouse controlled to aim and click to swing
Super Dunk -

Sports. Beat the computer or friends at various b'ball skills. Mouse controlled.

Platform. The arcade classic brought online. Flap your wings (space) to take off, and kill the other flying-jousting things by hitting them from above. Finally collect the eggs. Arrow keys to control.

Strategy. Sounds simple: remove the last stick to win. Virtually impossible against the computer, luckily you can play a human aswell. Mouse controlled

Arcade. Avoid the ants, and get the girls in this classic speccy action. Keyboard control

Sports. Play 8-ball pool against one of many computer opponents. Looks great but no cueball control. Shame. Mouse controlled

King of the Hill Paintball -

Sports. Shoot Hank and friends during a paintball game in their backyard. Shoot 'em 3 times and they're out. They shoot you 3 times, you're out.
Wiz3 -
Format: Java
Platform. Guide your wizard around the scenarios, collecting potions and stars, and avoiding the baddies. Arrow keys and space to control.
Soccer -
Format: Java
Sports. Looks shit, but is very addictive. Use your mouse to direct the players, and click to pass. Pass and move, pass and move.
Chess -
Format: Java
Strategy. Play the computer at Chess. Seems a bit good for me… maybe I'm just crap at it. Mouse controls.
Race 3D -
Format: Java
Racing. Not the best graphically, but plays very well. Race as any kind of Ford car. Arrow keys to control (space to select).
Blackjack -
Format: Java
Gambling. Basically a great looking version of every grandparent's favourite 'Pontoon'. Mouse controlled.

Fighting. Emulation of the famous Spectrum game. One of the all-time greats. Keyboard controls.
10 Pin Bowling -

Sports. Great graphics and very fast. Use the mouse to control. Click and drag mouse up to bowl.
9-Ball Pool -
Format: Java
Sports. Very simple looking 9-ball, but very enjoyable. If you don't know the rules, ALWAYS hit the lowest numbered ball, but pot anything to continue. He who pots the 9-ball wins. Mouse controlled.
Skeet Shooting -
Format: Java
Sports. Shoot the 'skeet' (clay pigeons) and the vermin to score maximum points. Use your mouse to control.

Platform. Cheesy graphics, but playable nonetheless. Collect the coins, avaoid the baddies. You know the score. Arrow keys to control.

Sport. Crazy golf. Great looking and easy to control. Those hills are killers though. Mouse controlled

Strategy. Strange game. Use your ship to fill the space by completing rectangular area. But don't let the birds hit your lines. Sounds complicated, but have a few goes and you'll get the hang of it. Use arrow keys to fly your ship.
