Britax | Cruiser Plus | Good design, simple and relatively cheap. It is easy to use and both of ours have been very durable. In my opinion is safer than heavier seats because it is so light. It uses the cars own buckle, which is out of reach of the child so they can`t let themselves out.

Maxi Cosi | Priori XP Car Seat- Miles | excellent car seat, easy to fit once you"ve got the hang of it, very secure in car

Britax | Duo Plus Isofix Car Seat | This seat came out top of the group in the Which safety report where they tested both front and side crashes. It"s also one of the most expensive at around £155-£180. My review is based solely on the Which report, but I thought that would be useful to all.

Graco | Junior Hi-Back Booster | Yes, I would recommend this car seat. My son is 3 and a quarter and it"s fine for him, and I hope it"ll last him a good few years. We even took the booster seat without the back on holiday to use in the hire car and it was fine. It"s light weight, easy to separate from the back rest, washable covers. He likes the drinks holders, and they are also suitable for toys, food etc etc of course!! It seems to offer him good support round the head, and appears comfy and is an excellent price, especially compared with other similar seats on the market. In fact we are buying another one tomorrow for our other car. It"s also easy to take in and out so it can go in the boot no problems.

Maxi Cosi | Priori Car Seat | After trying several car seats in our car i found this the most study and my daughter looked most comfortable and when changing cars or travelling in someone elses the seat always fits perfectly. Although not the cheapest car seat on the market its excellent and well worth the every penny

Maxi Cosi | Priori XP Car Seat- Justin | I have little experience of other carseats for this age group but I am seriously impressed with the seat that I have just bought. Reasons why? 1. Best buy in July 2004 Which! magazine 2. Excellent safety score in Which! 3. Feels really solid in situ. It has a tensionner to make the car seat belt REALLY tight 4. Car seat tensioner to make sure that everytime you put your baby in it is firm 5. Little hooks to put the car seat belts out of the way while getting baby in and out - this is excellent as you don"t have to then fiddle to get them from underneath your child! 6. reclines for sleeping. Definitely recommend this car seat

Maxi Cosi | Priori Car Seat | Awesome car seat. The padding on shoulders is really nice and keeps the straps flat. The strap that is used for tightening and loosening the halter is so helpful. The recline bar is quite handy too.
I can't say enough about this seat. We love it!!!

Maxi Cosi | Priori Car Seat | Fantastic. Excellent for our daughter. Positioned high so that she can see out of the window and very easy to recline. Comfy, well padded and very easy to fit. I cannot recommend this enough.

Britax | Cruiser Plus | Lightweight, easy to use, inexpensive - and seems far more secure than my previous Britax Eclipse, which was huge and cumbersome in comparison. I'm sure this is because it uses the cars own seat belt to secure the child, as opposed to the separate harness of the Eclipse. My 2 year old can now climb in.

Britax | Kid Car Seat- Hessian | I put my daughter into this aged 3 years as I didn`t have room in my car for all the car seats (new born twins) and she loved it. Only bad point is that in the summer it makes her hot and sweaty. It has fitted 5 different cars and adjusts really well. She is now 4 and a half and still loves it. Even when she falls asleep it keeps her upright and comfortable. Would recommend this car seat.

Graco | Autobaby | We have two of these, plusses are that it"s sturdy and easy to fit, minuses are that the base didn"t fit either of our cars (and is now in the loft) and with 16lb of baby in it"s very heavy.

Graco | Autobaby | I loved this car seat especially with the base - it fitted both my cars. Only critisism was that it was a bit heavy to carry.

|
Britax | Eclipse | Huge, heavy, fits my car (Audi A4)well, but now my son has reached just over 2 years old his feet are jammed up against the back of the front seat and I've had to buy another britax seat which sits lower on the cars seat and gives him loads more room.
The Eclipse is very high to carry a heavy 2 year old into - if you own a huge 4x4 or a big volvo estate it's fine, if you don't (like me) this seat won't last you more than a couple of years before you need to get rid and buy something smaller, lighter and easier!

Littlewoods-Index | recliner car seat | I am concerned about this seat. I purchased one on 29th April on the 28th May the red anchourage clip snapped! Leaving doubt of its overall safety. Littlewoods gave me a refund and I then purhased a Britax seat.I have tried without success to write to the little shield co (manufactures ) as I cannot get an address from anywhere! Could anyone please help.

LITTLE SHIELD | air-flo intrepid car seat | I think this car seat is terrible it is not safe what so ever when I strap my baby in it the chair is loose I thought it was my seat belt but I have changed my car 3 times so far and it still happens so if I have a crash or have to apply my breakes hard the car seat goes flying forward

Little Shield | Infant Carrier and In-Car Base | We bought this seat from Argos (two of them - were having twins) but didn't think the base added any benfits so we took the seat back - it didn't look strong or sturdy enough for us.

Little Shield | Multi-Recline Car Seat | I work on the childseat dept in Halfords. A customer bought this seat in Argos and was experiencing problems with it. It's a very flimsy seat that doesn't come with instructions, other than the diagram on the side. To fit it forward facing, the car's safety belt actually rubs on the foam of the seat!!! Very unsafe. Not recommended AT ALL! Stick to a well known make (Britax, Maxi Cosi, Graco, Chicco, Mamas and Papas etc), and make sure it fits your car!

Britax | Trio Car Seat | Heavy, unwieldy, difficult to fix well once you remove the harness. We have four children 11-2 and lots of experience with seats. The Maxi Cosi Rodi or Concord Lift is a much better seat and fit slimmer in the car, an added plus if you'r trying to fit 3 seats in!

Graco | Autobaby | I find this babyseat very unsuitable, it does not fit in my car as the seatbelt is not long enough and i own a family mondeo car so i have to use the base when i use the base my sons head falls forwards when asleep as the base sits on a tilt (my son is now 5 months old). I am considering purchasing another different car seat
