USCF Governance Information
The United States Chess Federation (USCF) is incorporated under the Illinois statutes as a Not For Profit organization. Its charter and Bylaws can be found in the Annual Report published each June. The US Chess Federation is governed by a set of Delegates (apportioned based on USCF membership per state) who meet annually, and a Governing Board which concerns itself with situations that arise between Delegates' meetings.
