Nice game! Works great on my Tungsten E. The only annoying thing about it is that once you start the ship in motion with the Thrust key it's very hard to get it back under control. The ship starts flying all over the screen! Use a delicate touch on the thrust button until you get to the point in the game where you can upgrade and get Retro rockets. With Retro rockets your ship will slow down when you release the thrust button. And as already mentioned by others, the Preferences revert back to the default settings after each game but I didn't find that to be a big deal. The default settings are fine except for the speed which is set to Fast. I have to use Slow to be able to control my ship well enough until I got Retro rockets.

Nice variation of the arcade classic. In this version there's shield so it's not 1 touch die, power-ups to replenish some of that, and items u use as $$ to buy permanant power-ups between sets of levels. Only complaints are that while i was able to remap keys successfully and change option settigns, they get reset to default settings everytime u suspend game and open it again. A brief description of what the powerups do exacly would'v been nice, as the names only give you an idea of what they might do. Retro automatically stops your ship upon not firing thrusters (so u don't float forever in space), shield doubles your shield capacity, turbo is convenience to keep your fingers less tired, and power makes your shots penetrate all enemies

Looks cool, but doesn't work on Palm Tungsten|C. Pressing any of the hard keys causes the program to exit, and menus are not accessible.

Not a bag version of the original. The "roids" would stop every time I hit the fire button. Moved kinda slow.

Nice variation on the original Asteroid game. Unfortunately, I am unable to assign hard-keys in the prefs panel. The key assignments always reverts to the default key settings. Also, the game play is a little 'jerky'. When I fire, the whole game pauses for a fraction of a second.
