If you click on the "developer's site" link above, instead of going to the VersionTracker page you start to download VersionTracker 3.5.3.

sadly i installed this without noticing the FC1, as it didnt appear on the maint list, just the install page.
As mentioned by the previous reviwer it never removes old entries rendering the app completly useless.
I did remove all my prefs files and it worked again, but thats a bit drastic.
Lets just hope it will tell me when it get's out of FC stage !

This version does not accurately scan installed software. The scan does not check application versions. This renders the software useless since its primary purpose is to compare installed versions against available versions.
This is a major disappointment to me on two counts. First, that the software was released to the public at all. This should have been caught by internal testers. Second, that this software was released without clear and obvious indication that it was a pre-release version.
I will be more critical in my examination of VersionTracker software before I install. When it comes time to renew my subscription to VersionTracker I will be weighing this experience against the perceived value of VersionTracker. Given the poor performance of this application, I can do a better job of keeping my systems up to date using the free version of VersionTracker.
Poorly done, guys.
