lepprd_dotmac: A true review of this program need to be from the student use perspective. My students have no difficulty whatever with two clicks to record an answer since anything is better than writing longhand answers. They also do not view the the app from a critical programer's perspective. They enjoy it and use it with enthusiasm. I am delighted to have a version for Mac OS X since this saves a restart from OS 9.2. As for the $10, my work is with very poor achieving students on an individualized basis. Eclectitech: program took about ten seconds to get to splash screen, then crashed immediately afterwards. Second launch program ran fine. It's a basic multiple choice quiz program with some reference material included - appropriate as freeware or as a module for a more generalized quiz program. The speech-to-text and speech recognition are a novelty that don't add much to the functionality, but they work as expected. |
