(1 of 1 users found this comment useful) jjcook: I have used BlueJ for some time, and I always liked it. I have recently upgraded to the 2.0.1 version, and I am excited! This is, and has been before, an excellent application. I don't think you will find anything better (or even coming close) for getting your head around object oriented programming, and for experimenting with your Java applications. This version looks slick. They managed to add a few nice new things without ruining the simple elegance of the interface. I love it! Excellent learning tool

This tool, when paired with a decent professor to teach syntax and semantics of the language, is very easy to use and can produce neat little Java applications. I have not used the 2.x series but I can only imagine how spiffy the program is in this stage of development. Check it out. :) |
