Product Description:

Pax Galaxia is a fast paced and addictive real time strategy game, based on the board game Risk. You will be amazed at the strategic depth of this game, even if it is very easy to learn and play. You will have to conquer stars, break up and force your enemies fleets to surrender, carry out rapid attacks and tactical retreats. Multiplayer modes are available (online and by taking turns on a single computer). A level editor is included.

This is very strange. I'm not even sure it's a game. I don't know what it is. This is the second or third time I've tried it and still can't get the hang of how it's played. I know, I know, go read. If I wanted to read I would open a book. I wanted to play a game. Most games don't need a whole lot of reading just to play. This is clearly a nerdware game.

The changes to online play are good (although I don't see how you adjust difficulty), but now PG crashes (disappears) when I try to start a single user game. FYI - users should be warned - this is a very additive game. Also, it would be nice to see a graph of ship production in addition to fleet size.

This is a wonderful game, offering rich strategic options and fast play. I only wish it was easier to find others to play against...perhaps support for GameRanger will be offered in the future...?
