Have you ever asked yourself: What version of the image are we looking at on this laserprint of my InDesign document? Label It solves this issue. It lets you automatically add a textbox with the name of the placed image. You can control where the box should be placed and you can even add the complet imagepath. The benefit of the plugin compared to AppleScripts is that when you move your images ... the label will follow your image. So you will not see any loose labels flowting around.

What's new in this version:

• 4.2.1 - New features added: Center label text, add stroke and color to border, make inset spacing, define substring, add labels to same layer as images ... and much more (official release after 4.1.8)
• 4.1.8 - Fix: Removed an unwanted border on Label text boxes
• 4.1.7 - Added: Info on size of placed images AND option to place labels next to images
• 4.1.6 - Fix: Solved an "undo request" that was generated too many times on large documents (documents with many images)
• 4.1.5 - New feature: Show scaling % in labels
• 4.1.4 - fixes a problem with negativ scaling (mirroring horisontal and vertical)
• 4.1.3 - we fixed an issue with rotated boxes
• 4.1.2 makes label it catch some extra image events so label boxes are updated
• 4.1.1 is an important update to 4.1.0
• 4.1.0 first port from InDesign CS to InDesign CS2
