although it says, drop .txt file here, nothing happens. That would be my preferred way of doing this- therefore, have not tried this program.

Gremdan Teleprompter Display ReviewSimple and useful - Version: 1.0, 11/19/2005 05:07AM PST

I’ve only tested the software briefly, so can’t say how it would stand up when using it ‘under pressure’ however, I have a couple of comments; It’s very easy to use and it does exactly what you’d expect. There are four user selectable font sizes, three colour variations for the text and a slider to control the speed – simple and effective. I’d suggest it needs one ’tweak’ and one additional feature; the ‘tweak’ is to make sure the guide line (which is optional) was always under the text, whatever the font size otherwise it’s possible to get 'line through' text which is visually disruptive. The additional feature which is really needed by anyone doing a talk presentation to a live audience is an instant pause/resume button – the space bar would be the obvious choice. At the moment you have to use the mouse to navigate to an on screen button – too fiddly when you are working under pressure. Not a bad start though.
