VueScan Troubleshooting ReportNo longer works on PhotoSmart All-In-One - Version: 8.3.13, 11/29/2005 11:22AM PST

William Corbin
I've used VueScan with success for quite some time with an HP PSC 2410 PhotoSmart All-In-One scanner. For example, Version 8.2.21 works fine. However, versions 8.3.x report:

No scanners were found connected to your computer...

If I go back to version 8.2.21 it works fine once again.

What has changed?

VueScan ReviewAnd the features keep on coming.... - Version: 8.3.12, 11/27/2005 10:54AM PST

Last version I was using was 8.3.07, so maybe this was included before .13, but a BIG thanks for allowing the histogram graph and adjustments points to be visible on the left while looking at the preview or scanned image - this allows the image to be adjusted without switching back and forth between the histogram and image.

This is a great improvement in useability - if you haven't updated in a while, get this one.

VueScan CommentaryCanon MP 760 - Version: 8.3.12, 11/25/2005 03:47AM PST

I used to work with a HP AIO 7140xi and with that piece of harware Vuescan did the job very well. Recentely I switched to a Canon MP 760 and guess what ... Vuescan for OSX doesn't recognize the Canon. In the list of supported devices a driver for the MP 760 is included in the Windows version, but not the OSX version.
Any chance to include a driver for the PM760 for Mac OSX one of these days? Cheers, Bert
