Very simple once you play with it after a while. I've only used a couple of days and I'm already recomending it to my friends. I'm always trying to find easy, convenient everyday applications that I can use on my palm and this is definitely one since I (we all) make daily transactions. Easy to enter and catergorize transactions and instantly balances your checkbook right there on the same screen. This is definitely an excellent freeware! Still can't believe it's free.

Found a trick around deleting records and have the balance adjusted:
1. Change amount to zero by editing the record.
2. Save edit transaction
3. Delete record

I've found that by doing so the balance is adjusted and the record can be deleted after. Excellent software. A must-get for all finance-conscience people. Delete procedure can be improved.

As a college student this program is a definite keeper but, my only gripe is when I go to delete a transaction I get a fatal error. And, I had to reset my palm and when I open the application again the balance is not adjusted properly but, the transaction itself has been deleted so I have to adjust my account when this happens. Other, Than that problem I like this program. It is very simply to use and I can view my accounts in different views and categories.

This is an amazing program. I just got my Clie SJ-20 and installed this app on it and had my account information entered in it within 30 min. It was that intuitive and easy to use! I'd love to see Transaction Categories for Deposits so I can track different income sources and csv, qif import capabilities but this app rivals or easily beats ones that you have to pay for. Hello, I have been using this application for a few months now and I think it is great, I can now keep track of all my accounts, all in one spot (chequing, Visa, MC, RRSP, etc). I have come across a couple of problems though - whenever I try to delete checked transactions from my chequing account I get an error (DataMgr.c,Line:3688,Null dbID passed) what is that? I have also ran out of room in my TO: list and the payments feature does not seem to work properly, when I want it to automatically transfer funds from one account to a different one, on a specific day each month. Also, my Balance and my Actual never seem to be correct and I have to keep adjusting the Actual, but that one is probably just an error on my part along the way. Besides that though, It is great!!! Thank you :)

Very interesting program to use... I have been using it for the last month now on my Visor Edge, and for the most part it has been all good... Setting payments up through the debit card was a hassle, but worth the wait... Everything that the program has to offer is good. But, there is a bug with the auto check numbers, and I have to type them in manually, but that is all good.... I dont mind that.. Just wish there were a way to edit the forms of transaction to what I use here... Thanks for the great program...

Auto-fill fields, balance summaries of all accounts, all I could ask for is a tad more versatility: transfers to and from cash accounts (now you have to make two entries to show deposit from cash to checking account). Well, this is quite an useful tools but somehow the starting cheque number that I entered during creation of my current account differs from what coming out when I selected the next cheque number. I entered 128106 and it came out 62573. I have to revert to entering my cheque number manually rather than have it defaulted.

Seemed to be the best thing out there but it's plagued with errors. Trying to edit the balance works until you make your next entry. Frustrating. The overall format of the program is the best out there however, at the most minimal, a checkbook program must keep records without ANY errors. This is not the case with "My Checkbook". An update that fixes this will guarantee this is the best checkbook program out there.

I get a fatal error when I try to delete an account. I cannot edit the check number. If you schedule a payment in the future, it deducts the amount from your account immediately. I have found that this program is unusable. It has a very nice look and feel, but definitely needs some bug fixes and improvements.

Excellent program. Sugestions for next release:
1) show more line on top and only bring up bottom when new/edit
2) allow delete by date not just number of items.
3) when changing type from debit to deposit it miscalculates balance
4) allow change of either opening balance or of current balance. (or both)

This program is absolutely great! It has every option i need to balance my checkbook. A great tool. The only thing is, is when i export the file into Excel, the formatting gets lost. There is no column titles like it says in the manual. But overall, it's great!
