The best file manager available! And it's FREE! A must-download for all! I can't get the "FileProg RX" function to work however... The readme says it's for OS4 or newer. I have OS 4.1. I'm trying to beam JPG pictures from my mobile phone to the MS card via IR. Can I do this? (Clié SJ30)

This program become unstable when handling large files. It crashed a number of times when I copy a number of 500K files from Internal to Card. Apart from this, I found the presentation and operation of this program is much better than FileZ.

This is the best file management tool that I've ever seen. As noted before, this app copies and deletes files that FileZ simply cannot. Since upgrading to version 1.13c, there's never been a crash on my Zire71 while manipulating files.

Totally indispensible! Copies, moves and deletes stuff that even Filez won't. I even used this to get a ROM program off my old Visor Prism to my new T3. The only (minor) thing I'd like to see would be more sorting and filtering options. This one's a keeper.

Extremely Recommended. Awesome program, I do not know what I would do with out it. I like the feature of being able to delete multiple files at once & being able to have the choice of deleteing an application and all the databases that are linked to it.

I was wrong, just didn't pay attention. FileProg DOES sort by selectable attribute. It just wasn't obvious to me how to do it. I can't think of another thing it needs; it does it all, and very well. By far the best Palm file manager extant.

The new ability to delete entire directory trees at one time is very welcome. The only improvement I can think of would be the ability to sort by the available attribute displays, especially CreatorID, size, and date. Even so, FileProg is the best file manager for Palm I've tried, and I've tried all I can find. This is the one that stays in RAM on my Palm.

Revised Evaluation: ***** Best File Manager Available *****. Blows Filez and Yishow and Zlauncher away in terms of features for file management. Preferences menu needs to be configured appropriately as some useful features are not enabled by default, like hi-res fonts and file count/size display.

This is a great file manager. It should definately get more press. Just the searchfiles function alone is unique and worth it. In terms of features, it is comparable to Zlauncher, YiShow and Filez.

If the following features are added, it will be superior to every one of them:
1) Ability to Sort by a secondary field, like CRiD
2) Is already has medium and Large fonts. Provide Small hi-res fonts as well.
3) When files are selected, display the count of the number of files, and total size of all the files. This could perhaps replace the directory file count and memory/flash sizes at the top of the screen once files are selected.
4)Provide a file 'rename' option in the popup when a single file is selected(Although It is in the main file management menu)

It's simply great. I'm using it to manage files (specially delete) from programs that doesn't do the job themselves (like MMPlayer). It's also because you have a precise information about size and owner of files and programs.

Excellent software! Works perfect on my Treo 90 with an SD card. Tried it on my older Visor Neo with a SM Memplug and it worked perfect on it too. Much faster than FileZ and almost as many features.
