08/13/05 Chess Club Meetings for Fall 2005 Chess will meet in Johnson Student Center Room 102(In the burger king lobby) on Thursday's. from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 1/18/05 Chess Club Meeting for Spring 2005 Chess will meet in Johnson Student Center Room 100 on Thursday's from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 10/14/04 Chess Club Meetings for 2004-2005 School Year Chess will meet in Johnson Student Center Room 104 on Wednesday's from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Chess will also meet at More Than Coffee (across the street from Woody's and Sharkey's on Main Street) on Sunday's from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Several people wanted to start meeting again on Sundays at a local cafe, so we will plan on meeting Sundays around 5 PM at the Espresso Corner, located on the corner of Main and College in downtown Blacksburg, next to Crossroads Movies and Music. 8/25/03 First Chess Club Meeting of the Semester is August 27th We will resume meetings at the same time and place as last year starting this Wednesday, at the Johnson Student Center at 7:00 pm. Click on Meetings for more information. 4/24/03 Last Chess Club Meeting of the Semester is April 30th As you all know the end of the semester is here, and exam preparations are much more time consuming and important than chess... Right?? I'm sorry to say that Wednesday, April 30th (7pm) will be the last day the Chess Club will meet for the semester. 4/7/03 Meeting Changed to Thursday - This Week Only The Chess Club meeting for this week will be moved to Thursday, April 10th instead of Wednesday. The time and place will remain the same: 7 PM in the Burger King lobby. Next week, meetings will return to Wednesdays. 1/4/03 Spring Meeting Schedule Meeting will again be held on Wednesday nights from 7-9 PM. They will be in the lobby in front of Burger King in Johnson Student Center. Click on meetings to the left for more information. We hope to see you there! 8/29/02 Club Showcase - this Friday 4-8 PM, Squires The Chess club will have a booth in Squires for the showcase this Friday August 30th.
