Arghyadip, Deepan take the second and third spot

M R VenkateshWith Venkatesh (BPCL) confirming his title a round back, the battle was truly on for the second spot. Arghyadip Das and Deepan Chakkravarthy took the coveted second and third spot with 8.0 points, and would, in addition to Venkatesh, have the chance of representing India in the Asian Junior Championships.

Venkatesh pocketed the winner's purse of Rs 12500, while Arghyadip took the runner-up cheque of Rs 8800. Defending Champion Abhijeet Gupta of Rajasthan took the fourth place, ahead of S Arun Prasad and S Poobesh Anand.
