Kasparov through, Ponomariov drops out
03.06.2002 With a second 2-0 "dry score" Garry Kasparov proceeded to the quaterfinals of the FIDE Grand Prix in Moscow. Ruslan Ponomariov lost 0-2 against veteran Alexander Beliavsky, while junior Teimour Radjabov defeated Akopian in the blitz tiebreak.
