Most of the checkers articles that you can read here, in my WWW pages, will eventually be part of a book that I am writing on how to play checkers. It is taking me a while. Part of the problem is that I am very busy. There are lots of games and endings that I want to write about. There are even some games and openings that I have written about, but I have misplaced the articles. I will include those, when I clean my apartment, if I ever do that. Then there is Third Position. I do not understand Third Position very well at all. Over the years, I have drawn two mail games because I did not understand Third Position. I have to study it, before I can write about it. So far, it is looking like I cannot finish the book before summer 1998, maybe later.
I'm planning on writing another checkers book, a book on openings, much like Encyclopedia Of Chess Openings (ECO) in chess. I do not have the time to do much on this, for a few months. That may take a couple of years.
I am also planning to collect the best of my non-checkers articles, essays, stories (and jokes) into a book. There are a lot of mathematics (mostly probability) articles, logic articles, science articles, and computer articles that I want to write, before I can put this book together.
