Saturday, October 22:  Project Linus is an organization which provides blankets for small children undergoing illness or crisis.  Project Linus is holding a blanket-making day on Saturday, October 22, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Volunteers are needed to help with setup the night before, registration for the event, and various forms of assistance during the event.  If you are interested in helping out, please contact Gail Nock at projectlinusclt@aol.com or (704) 847-3502 before October 10 to sign up.
 
Thursday, November 24:  Project Linus will be marching in the Carrousel Parade on Thanksgiving Day this year.  The group needs volunteers to walk along the sides of the parade route during the parade to hand out flyers and candy to spectators.  You might even be on TV!  If you are interested, please let Gail Nock know before November 1; you can reach her at projectlinusclt@aol.com or (704) 847-3502.
