RUGBY WORLD CUP 2007 – TICKETING

The Rugby World Cup will be held in France from 7th September 2007 to 20th October 2007. The tournament is being organised by the International Rugby Board (IRB), Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL) and the French Rugby Federation (FFR).  It is these three organisations who will decide who will become The Official Travel Agents and Official Hospitality Sales Agents for the event

For the first phase of match ticket sales on 00.01 am (CET) 5th November 2005, the organisers have decided to offer packages of matches exclusively to what they have called the ‘rugby family’.  As a club affiliated to the Rugby Football Union, members of Hammersmith & Fulham RFC will be entitled to apply for tickets at an early stage and before the public get access in spring 2006.  The packages include ‘follow my team’ and ‘venue specific’ packages.

Members of Hammersmith & Fulham RFC who wish to purchase tickets, should read the points below:-

1.      Tickets for the tournament will go on sale at 11.01pm (GMT) on November 4^th 2005
 

2.      Please go to the official RWC website www.france2007.org
 

3.      You will be required to enter a password to identify you as a valid member of an affiliated club.  The password, which is only available to fully paid up Club members, can be obtained from the Club (RWC2007@FulhamRugby.co.uk)
 

4.     You can then select and purchase packages of tickets to the World Cup as specified on the website
