Deep Blue whacked computer chess over the head
08.07.2002 James Robertson is a young computer chess programmer, competing in the world
championship in Maastricht. The nineteen-year-old is there to learn, not
to win. At least not outright. "I would be very satisfied with with one
of the top five places, top eight is also good," he says in a garden interview
with Eric van Reem.
