Peter Leko qualifies for final, Bareev beats Topalov
15.07.2002 The first finalist in the Dortmund classical chess world championship qualifier is Peter Leko. The 22-year-old Ungarian was able to win another black game against Alexei Shirov to take the semifinal match with one game to go. In the other game Bareev won for a second time in succession to take a 2:1 lead. Topalov must win the last game with white.
