| Kasparov vs Deep Junior moved to New York
21.12.2002 This man vs machine match was originally scheduled for October
1 in Jerusalem, then it was postponed
to December 1st, then to January
5th. The venue was moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Today FIDE announced
that it would be held in Manhattan, New York, from Jan. 23 to Feb. 2, with two
"practice games" before that in Israel. We will keep you informed
as more details become known.
