Tim Krabbé and the Babson task
19.04.2003 On April 13 the Dutch author, chess player and cyclist Tim Krabbé celebrated his 60th birthday – exactly the day on which Garry Kasparov turned 40. Krabbé is well known in Holland as a screenwriter and a novelist, internationally he is better known for his articles on on chess. His speciality is chess curiosities, on which he has written books and runs a web site. We wish Tim a happy birthday by retelling his famous Babson tale.
