Topalov is the new World Champion
After the first half Topalov leade the field is St. Luis with an impressive 6.5/7. All he needed to secure the win was avoid defeat, and indeed he did. With 7 consecutive draws he secured the title with 1.5 points advantage over Anand and Svidler.
Bundesliga
The 05/06 Bundesliga is taking off. FICS will cover the strongest league in the wolrd with regular live relays starting on Saturday, Jan 22. Stay tuned to watch the strongest players in the world defend their team colors.
