Topalov
is the new World Champion
After the first half Topalov leade the field is St. Luis with an impressive 6.5/7. All he needed to secure the win was avoid defeat, and indeed he did. With 7 consecutive draws he secured the title with 1.5 points advantage over Anand and Svidler. |
