IHSA TV Network Station Lineup

IHSA TV programming is carried on several over-the-air
TV stations and hundreds of basic cable outlets throughout the state.

OVER-THE-AIR TV STATIONS

You may be able to pick up IHSA TV on one of the following over-the-air TV stations. These stations are also carried on cable systems throughout their respective coverage areas (see the complete list of cable channels).

The red circles indicate areas with the best reception. The blue circles and beyond indicate areas where a higher-powered antenna may be necessary for good reception.

All of these over-the-air stations are carried on cable channels throughout their respective coverage areas.

When will the broadcast air on my cable channel?

Almost all the cable channels which carry IHSA programming do so on a live basis. If you have questions whether or not games in your area will be carried live on your cable station contact your local cable operator.

SATELLITE DISHES

MOVABLE C-BAND DISHES

Owners of movable C-band satellite dishes can receive the broadcasts directly.

The Football Championship Games will be carried on the AMC 11 satellite at 131º W, transponder 23, downlink frequency 4160 vertical. The broadcasts are not scrambled.

DISH NETWORK

Dish Network satellite owners in the Chicago marketplace can tune to channel 8501 to view IHSA broadcasts originating from Channel 20 (WYCC) Chicago. It is our understanding that Channel 8501 requires a second dish to be installed at your location, and that Dish Network will provide and install this dish free of charge. Contact your local Dish Network representative for details.

Dish Network satellite owners in the Quad Cities marketplace can tune to channel 26 (KGWB) to view IHSA broadcasts.

Dish Network satellite owners in the Peoria marketplace can tune to channel 59 (WAOE) to view IHSA broadcasts.

DIRECTTV

DirectTV satellite owners in the Chicago marketplace can tune to channel 20 to view IHSA broadcasts originating from Channel 20 (WYCC) Chicago.

DirectTV satellite owners in the Quad Cities marketplace can tune to channel 26 (KGWB) to view IHSA broadcasts.

DirectTV satellite owners in the Peoria marketplace can tune to channel 59 (WAOE) to view IHSA broadcasts.
