On December 8, 2003, Ronald W.
McGraw, principal at Knoxville
High School and former member of
the Illinois High School
Association (IHSA) Board of
Directors, was named to be an
assistant executive director.
McGraw graduated from ROWVA
High School, he earned an
associate degree in technology
from Morrison Institute of
Technology. Then he earned his
bachelor’s and two master’s
degrees from Western Illinois
University.
He began his career in
education as a teacher and coach
at Sherrard for seven years, where
he coached wrestling, football and
golf. He then joined the
administrative staff at Monmouth (H.S.)
as assistant principal/athletic
director for three
years before moving to Knoxville
as its principal for 10 years.
Prior to becoming a member of
the Board of Directors, Ron served
on the Golf Advisory Committee,
the All-State Academic Team
Selection Committee and the
Legislative Commission.
Ron and his wife, Rosemary, are
parents of two children, Mallory
and Mike. |
