I'm having trouble viewing .mov files
They are Apple commercials saved with Quicktime Pro. Some of them are not displayed at all while others stutter and have no audio. I would think that this app is designed to view such movies. They are easily displayed in Quicktime. [alert admin]

Klondike Forever 1.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I wanna Cheat!!!!
I haven't won a single game yet!!!! I wish I could cheat like I do in Ultimate Solitaire and Solitaire Till Dawn. It's tough to stay on the straight and narrow and keep losing. Seriously though this is a great piece of freeware! [alert admin]

Brickles Pro 1.1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
All Of the Comments below are either totally spurious or fallacious
The only exception is that the app is archaic and really fit for OS7. I am not alone in my opinion as anyone can see by reading the comments. "Res Ipsa Loquitor" (The thing speaks for itself) I have opined and have NEVER used another identity to do so. I have a right to an opinion and I intend to exercise it. If the developer wants to do the right thing he should either make this freeware or reduce the fee to $3. That is really the top value of this app. If he wants to be egregious he can continue charging $25. He can expect criticism now and in the future despite his futile attempts to stifile our rights here in this forum. [alert admin]

This Is The Best Version Yet!!!
I can see that a lot of work went into this. I like the display. It's very sharp and modern and very functional. The design is great! [alert admin]

IdentD 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Ok!! And thank you for your comments and reply to my observations
The port 113 is automatically opened in iDentD in the Firewall in Tiger. I really don't know why the security notice comes up to either ignore the IdentD Preference pane or fix it (which I elected to fix it) but it does on restart on both my iMac and my G5 both running 10.4.3.I have forwarded 113 on my router as well in tcp and udp for 113.I have had no problems in accessing the IRC chat servers with of course the exception of ef net's "homeland lien server thingee or whatever they call it" who emphatically say that I have no identD and I am banned but who cares at this point since there are many other roads to Efnet and apparently they recognize theIdentD that is available here.In short this is a great and workable IdentD and you should be commended for creating it and offering it free. IdentD 2.0 (Mac OS X)
More on this!
Using OS10.4.3 Eventually a message comes up that the security of this IDentD located in system preferences is in doubt and has to be fixed or disabled. I chose fix. You are then instructed to restart. I then chose another EFnet server (other than Homeland something or other) and was accepted. Apparently nthe server known as Homeland lien something or other will not recognize this version of iDentD no matter what you do.I also tried Dal net using the wrong nick (the one in EFnet rather than my nick in Dal net using iDentD and was also allowed to join even though iDentD was transmitting the nick for EFnet to Dal net. This is so confusing but I am allowing the iDentD to remain on at all times for whatever good it does.If it transmits my"short name" I don't see why any server would allow me in. I may be wrong here and if anyone reads this and wants to comment and tell me what really is going on I would appreciate it very much. [alert admin]

Um, use QuickTime?
That's what I'm doing. I just wondered why since this is an app designed for the Mac why it wasn't able to handle .mov files. Thanks for your reply anyway.

multiple ratings
Hello??? What's this??? Don't you know that you can rate (vote) for each new version??? Let me edify you on this in case it bothers you that a great developer with a useful and attractive, creative application is given recognition for each version that gives improvement to the app and to the Mac Users who enjoy it's use. UNBELIEVABLE that you would be critical of this.

I am keeping VF1 as well!
No It doesn't crash the MAC...It crashes itself! One user states he had to trash the preferences everytime he launched it and it STILL crashed. Go to Versiontracker and enter in the search WIndows Media Player!

Like the Features, Hate the stability
Do you have PithHelmet installed? This could be the problem. You can't have both.

Oh Boy
Using a PowerMac G5, No problem noted with IE. I wonder if it is the home page itself causing a problem. Change to another home page and see if that cures it. I am using refdesk.com as my start page in IE. That loads good.

Am I alone in This?
Thanks! Yes I did! I used Disk Warrior also yesterday as I knew this update was imminent! Thanks for responding. I am bothered because every time we repair permissions we will have to view this elongated list of special permissions.
