EPSCA Under 9 Zonal - Saturday 12th March 2005 There is a new name on the EPSCA South East trophy - Hertfordshire! The Under 9s scored 28 points to finish two points clear of both Wey Valley and Sussex. The first round was a dream start with 11 wins and one draw, the Second round saw ten wins and two defeats. The Third round saw a bit of a blip with just 6.5 points. Impressively, five of the top six boards scored maximum points. Congratulations to manager Mark Topham and all the players. The final is at Nottingham on 23rd April where we will be one of the strong favourites.
